The Bottom Line from Jon Goff on MM7.....

When securing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre license one of the requirements was that we would make four figures from the film. A number of you are not happy with this, but it is the way it is. We will have no problem releasing them and when you see the final product it will be of the quality you have come to expect from McFarlane Toys.

Am I happy with the line? As I said before, "it is what it is." I'm really excited about Robocop and Hicks because I know a number of fans have been waiting for these figures.

what is funny is that anyone that knows anything about movie licensed stuff should know that mctoys doesnt have the final say on everything. i tried telling a few people that this was probably the case (although i didnt know for sure) and not one person listened. The hell with the "unclean" on Spawn.com. We can't help them, nor can we educate them. I am very please we know the line up for almost everything this year.

I say almost, because we don't know what the Collector Club exclusives will be.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I include that in the "working with licensors" woes. Kinda like when the manager of Kid Rock wanted the base to have blinking lights in the marquee... but still wanted the price point to stay around $10.
